Gasification of plastic waste is an emerging technology particular interest to the scientific world given production a hydrogen-rich gas from material. Devolatilization first step thermochemical decomposition process which crucial in determining quality whole gasification process. The devolatilization polypropylene (a key compound waste) has been investigated experimentally bench-scale fluidized bed reactor. Experimental tests were carried out by varying two parameters process—the size spheres (8–12 mm) and temperature (650–850 °C). Temperature shows highest influence on Greater molecular cracking results more pronounced at higher temperatures, increasing light hydrocarbons along with formation solid carbon residue tar. overall syngas output reduced, while H2 content increased. Furthermore, pseudo-first-order kinetic model was developed describe (Eapp = 11.8 kJ/mol, A1 0.55 s−1, ψ 0.77).
